The Bulldogs ended their season tonight with a loss to Pensacola 14-7. It was a tough game filled with a lot of rain. Our Bulldogs put up a fight to the very end and were very sportsman like through the entire game. We were very proud of you guys out there tonight.

We all want to thank the TCHS Bulldog football players and coaches for an unbelievable season. You guys have brought the football spirit back to Taylor County and we want to thank you for it. The community has bonded together more in the past few months than we have seen in many many years and we can thank you guys for that.

Now lets get ready for TCHS Bulldog Football 2011!!!!

The whole community pulled together to form a Spirit Line at the beginning of the game. Way to go Taylor County. Lets continue to support our local schools in all Team Sports.

There will be a HUMAN SPIRIT LINE FROM THE HIGH SCHOOL TO THE STADIUM AT 5:45 ON FRIDAY BRING YOUR NOISE MAKERS AND YOUR ORANGE AND BLUE!!!!! THIS IS THE REGIONAL PLAYOFFS!!!!

This brings their undefeated season record to 10-0. They now face a tough battle to the state playoffs. Next Friday night they will play DeFuniak Springs at the Dorsett stadium. This will be their first step towards the state championship game.  We need the entire community to support them during this journey.  Please come out and show your support this Friday night at 7:30 p.m.

Our Bulldogs of Taylor County continued their winning streak with a win 20-7 over the Seminoles of Florida High. The Bulldogs scored thirteen unanswered second half points to pull away with another victory. That puts them at 5-0 in the district and 9-0 overall.

Our last game is next week in Chiefland. We hope that we have the turn out that we had during this game. The stands were packed with Bulldog fans. Please show you support next week as they try to finish off their season UnDefeated.

The Bulldogs won the District Championship last night with a win over Fort White for Homecoming. The final score was 38-21.

The Bulldogs took a quick lead in the first quarter with a score of 10-0. Fort White brought it to a close game with less than a minute left in the first half, with a score of 17-14 (Bulldogs). The Bulldogs were within field goal range at the 44 yard line. They set up for the field goal and faked it to their tight end who made a touchdown and then the  score was 24-14 going into the second half.

The Bulldogs finished off Fort White with a score of 38-21 and won the District championship.  This will give us home field advantage in the playoffs.

Next week our Bulldogs travel to Tallahasse to play Florida High. We encourage everyone support them as they get closer to the state championship.

Taylor County also improved to 3-0 in District 2-2B, and Union falls to 0-3. We came out on top of a tough defensive struggle that only saw 356 yards of total offense from both teams combined.

At half time we had the lead with the score at 13-0 after two rushing touchdowns that both came from within the five minute mark in the second quarter.

James Houston added to the lead with 68-yard punt return midway through the third quarter. A safety by Union County made the score 20-2. A touchdown and a two-point conversion by Union County with 90 seconds left rounded out the scoring.

They continue to stay in the hunt for the State Championship. Please continue to show your support to our team and coaches by attending all home games. Looks like this year they are working hard to bring the State Championship back to Taylor County.

GO BULLDOGS!!!

It was a great showing by our defense and the only points allowed by the Bulldogs were a kick off return for a touch down and an interception for a touch down. No other points we scored during the regular downs of the game.

At the end of the game Starke set back to punt and it was blocked by our Bulldogs. The ball landed in the end zone giving us a safety. With the score 16-14 in our favor and only a few seconds left on the clock, we held on to the ball and took another victory for the Taylor County Bulldogs.

In their next game, the Bulldogs clash with the Suwannee Bulldogs (Live Oak, FL) in a non-league match, on Friday, October 1. Taylor County will attempt to move on its 4-0 season record.
